Hanoi [Vietnam], March 18: After days of silence, musician Minh Khang has finally responded to the online controversy surrounding his verbal exchange with a ride-hailing driver.
Previously, a dashcam video recording an argument between musician Minh Khang and a ride-hailing driver went viral on social media. In the video, the husband of former model Thuy Hanh angered many people with his inappropriate behavior.

In a post on his personal page, Minh Khang stated that he felt he should speak up once and for all to clarify the situation. He began by admitting his mistake for not controlling his words, leading to impolite and inappropriate remarks towards the driver. According to him, regardless of the circumstances, speaking disrespectfully to others is unacceptable. "I sincerely apologize to the driver for that," he shared.
Minh Khang stated that this was a private matter between him and the driver during a trip. According to the musician, if the driver felt offended by his words, he had every right to report the incident to the app and provide video from the dashcam as evidence.
"However, the dashcam footage was publicly posted on social media with clear images and audio of me on the night the incident occurred. This caused the incident to spread very quickly and led to many comments attacking me and my family personally. Therefore, I reported the incident to the app to protect my privacy and personal image," he shared.
The husband of former model Thuy Hanh understands that in this story, everyone has made mistakes. He believes he must take responsibility for his actions. Personally, the musician recognizes his errors and sees this as a valuable lesson.
"I am deeply saddened by this incident. I extend my sincerest apologies to the driver, his family, friends, and everyone who cares about me, as well as to the app. I hope the driver will always drive safely on all roads and enjoy good health. I will also limit my alcohol consumption to avoid such reckless behavior," he wrote.
At the end of the post, Minh Khang expressed his wish for the story to end after he spoke out, so that everyone could continue with their work and lives. "Please, everyone, stop attacking or insulting anyone in this story. Once again, I apologize for my uncontrolled speech that night. Thank you for listening," the songwriter of " Cầu vồng khuyết" (The Broken Rainbow) confessed.
