Tripoli (Libya), August 3: The Libya's Education Ministry and the World Food Program on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding on school feeding.
The MoU was signed by Minister of Education Musa Muhammad al-Maqrif and WFP Representative and Country Director in Libya Rawad Halabi, said a statement by the ministry.
The minister praised the WFP's efforts to support primary and middle school students, confirming that the ministry will follow up and monitor the implementation of the MoU, the statement added.
The MoU will invest in school gardens, nutrition education, micronutrient supplementation, and deworming.
