Washington [US], August 11: U.S. President Joe Biden traveled to Kiawah Island, South Carolina, on Wednesday afternoon for a summer vacation with his family.
Biden is expected to stay on the sea island on the Atlantic coast for reportedly at least seven days.
Before leaving the White House, Biden signed a bill to expand health care benefits for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits.
U.S. presidents and their families traditionally take vacations away from the White House in summer.
