Vilnius [Lithuania], October 4: ArtVilnius'25, the largest contemporary art fair in the Baltic states, opened Friday at the LITEXPO exhibition and congress center in the Lithuanian capital.
Now in its 16th edition, the three-day event brings together artists, collectors, curators and critics from around the world. This year's program, curated by Spanish art critic Paco Barragan and Lithuanian curator Simona Skaisgire, focused on collecting practices and the role of Baltic art in the global market.
The fair also features exhibitions by collectors from Latvia and Estonia.
Since its launch in 2009, ArtVilnius has attracted more than 23,000 visitors annually.
